Local Racers Fare Well At Lebanon Valley National Open.

WEST LEBANON, N.Y. - Great weekend at Diamond RV Lebanon Valley National Open .

Show action included the wheelstanders of Danny O’Day and Richard Hutchins, an eight-car qualified field of Pro Mods, the Top Fuel Harley of Jim Doyle, the Super Mario jet Funny Car, and Ken Hall driving the Hanna Motorsports jet Funny Car. Stunt bikes from 3 twenty 2 performed during downtime.

The Competition Photos Best Appearing Car award went to the '03 Pontiac Grand Am of Mick Smallridge, sponsored by Foxwoods Casino.

The Competition Photos Best Engineered Car award went to the Super Stock Hemi of Al Smyth, sponsored by PortaTree.

Comp, Super Stock, Stock, Super Comp, Super Gas, and Super Street racers competed in eliminations during a beautiful spring Sunday at Lebanon Valley Dragway and the Diamond RV National Open, the third of a four-race series in the Northeast Division. More than 250 Sportsman cars made the trip to compete for points and awards.
