can axles be cut - resplined?

When I bought my car it was unfinished it had a new set of stock length 30 Spline Moser Axles I sent them back and had them shortened. I cant remember how much it cost I dont think it was that expensive.

yes u can, I took my axles to Mitchells in West Springfield Ma, I think it was , and they did a great job.
