I have been in contact with a woman and her husband in Pennsylvania through the DRAW organization and she had a serious spine injury some time ago and cannot attend races anymore. She is a big fan of racing and would like to get any race related items (autographed if you can) to display in her home. I will let you read part of an email I got from her husband after I sent one of my trophies to her (from 1994 trophy class):

Hi Mark,
You had to be here to see how much joy and happiness that you
brought to Kathy Ann. She even had tears (happy ones) she just couldn't believe anyone would be so kind as to send her one of their trophies. She said Thank You Very Much and that rest assure it will be put in one of the show cases with your name of who donated it to her in the Racing Room for everyone to see.. I am getting close to having it finished. I can't thank you enough for bringing so much joy and happiness to my wife. It has been something that has been missing for so long with all the bad news she keeps receiving. It looks like the wheel chair is coming sooner then they thought. Also they think they are going to have to do the transplant over because they have tried numerous times to adjust it and still can't get it working properly. So it could not have arrived at a better time, she is really depressed. If you could and wouldn't mind, would you please be so kind ask to ask some of the people you race with if they can send her something even if they could just send her one of their T-Shirts (she needs an Extra Large) it would make her so happy and full of joy plus help to cheer her up some more? They can even send a spark plug, lugnut, gasket anything that is no longer any good and it would mean the world to Kathy Ann. I know it is a lot to ask of you but you would have to see her to understand why I am asking you to help me out. Thanks again for your time and consideration and all the joy you brought to Kathy Ann plus the joy you brought to me by getting to see a smile instead of all the tears I see way to often. Sorry it's so long but believe it or not, I cut out a lot of the email. If you could donate something that would really help someone out who's having a tough time - I went out on a limb and told them that I KNOW that the people I race with will come through for her. If you would look around to see what you have and drop it off at my trailer at the track I would appreciate it.
