Anyone know what the overnight situation is for the Nationals?? Can you tent it?
I have to say, I'm disappointed in the communication with NED... they don't reply to emails.

:) Overnight stays are limited to self contained motor homes, I dont believe camper trailers are allowed in the pit area , no tents. call the track if i missed anything. You,d prob get eaten alive in a tent

Plenty of people tent it at the nationals. There is no restrictions as far as I know.

Well, I'm flipping a coin:
Heads - Spend $190 for a good tent
Tails - Spend $210 for gas to tow home and back for three days
Hmmmmm.... *wife still likes me, I guess I'll buy the gas and sleep home**
:D :D :D :D :D

Plus the $210 includes home cooked meals and hot showers.

Since I've been spectating at the Nats I've been staying at the 3 Ponds campground just over 101. Very q-u-i-e-t there which I like as I'm a light sleeper. It can get a bit loud and/or crazy inside the track but isn't that part of the fun?

Lee I have to stick up for my fellow Maynardites - a drag strip SHOULD be quiet at night. After 11 anyway.
