Did you guys hear that No.Kingstown granted the license ? All they need now is a lease for the property at the old airbase. This could run as early as May. It will be an every other weekend event so I'll still have time to run at NED.

i worked that event many years ago , fun time and was good for make awish, 500 cars and alotta points guys didnt show up. trivia for you guys who won sat race and who runnered up? will new track be 1/4 or 1/8 any night racing and whos runnin it?

I HAPPEN TO SEE A STORY ON CHANNEL 12 NEWS( ON THE SOUTH SHORE ) LAST NIGHT IT DID SHOW A CLIP OF THE STREET RACING IN FALL RIVER AND TALKED TO A FEW STREET RACERS.THEY FOLLOWED UP BY SHOWING Q.POINT AN THEY SAID THAT THE TOWN HAD GIVEN APPROVAL TO USING THE RUNWAY HOWEVER THEY ALSO SAID THAT THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE OLD BASE WAS NOT SURE IF THIS WOULD BE PROPER USE SO ITS STILL UP IN THE AIR BUT A LITTLE CLOSER SEE YOU AT THE RACES BOB ALBERT

hope they get it done, we nned more choices and more tracks in the ne area, iwas realy surpised at the car count that weekend in oct iwas realy imprresed that place ha a very nice stting rt on narraganseet bay.and ya se you athe races maybe havent decided if i am racing this year.

Hey Hotrod, I know that Sat's race ended on Sun because the guy I lost to in the 5th round , Tom in the purple Challeger conv , ended up winning the Sat bracket.

that guy won sats race donny carter runnnered up in a borrowed stocker mustang, iwonder if thats were the want to race hope not
the long runway would be better, ill make a call and get the lowdown.

The runway they hope to lease is a different one than the one used in '94. It is '3000 long and will require a new topcoat of pavement.

just talked with the promoter they are working on the lease , he said it will 1000ft for now, all new pavements barriers etc ans sat and sundays for awhile. He also said to call him in a couple weeks
for more info, thought i let you know what i find out.

Any idea how the track surface will be prepped? Also, will Sat's be a test'n'tune day? And will the full incremental times be available as well? May be worth trip on sat for testing if you can get more hits on track verses NED.

i already said a 1000 ft pete and yes there was acrash ferra didnt know how to lift in his prostock tbird driver eror, real stupid move is was workin the event when you get losse lift and click not this pilot well he paid the pricee and pete this race had more cars at it than the national event.

the 1 that had a pro stock tbird back in 94 pete, got out shape on a non preped track and lifted got back in it and was toatlly out out control, you asked iwas there standin rt behind the startin line watchin,was the worse case off driving ihave ever seen

that track was not prepped for any car with hp he really should not have even attempted to make a full pass he didnt have that much experience as was noted that car was driven by a few different people

I've got a two hour video from Karl's East Coast that was produced by RC Racing Videos. I'll have to pop it in & watch, it's been a while. I do remember on the vid one guy in a '67 - '68 Camaro clipped the wall pretty good.
