Just finished adding the complete Oxford Schedule to the site. Luckily (for me) they only run 2 days a week ;-)
Later!

Thanks Mike. There is supposed to be a pretty high payout for their points days. I have asked that the payouts and format be put on the site. From what I understand it is basically a no box/box deal this year and they only need 100 competitors to meet the payout requirements. I don't dare repeat what the amounts are because I can't remember exactly but it is very attractive.
I do know first place for the season means free entrance the following year.

Payout to win based on 100 entries is 1,200 dollars and i believe its 800 for second and i believe they are paying back 8 spots.

Have they ever had 100 entries? The reason I ask is that it seemed like every time I read the results it was a 2 or 3 round race.

They were close several times last year if they put us all in two classes. They are counting bikes and sleds as well. They will run bikes/sleds together as long as possible, street with street/mod together, and box cars together. When they run out of a class or people line up next to someone however, it is winner take all.
Think of it as a big King of the Hill race with a decent payout.
The couple of times they tried it last year there were no more box cars by the semi's. :)

I think we will have close to 100 entries this year in the past the payouts have been so bad it hasnt been worth the while to make the drive. Oxford finally has a track operator that wants to do something with the track and has the resources to do so. I encourage everyone to give it a shot its a nice little race track with a lot of updates. Its was nice to see some New England dragway guys come up and try the track last year everyone seemed to like it and u will get more runs in than at NED.

Pat is adding new lights in the pits this year and another at the top end in the shut down area . Hes also going to do more paving in the pits , or at least thats what I've heard. We get a big snowmobile field on Friday nights so if those guys stay and race on SAT that will help with the count . Quite often we will race there then head for NED to race Sunday . May be we'll pick up sum Winterport cars with the payout because they can do the same as they run on Sunday.Makes for A nice weekend. DAN
