1500.00 to win race

The next 1500.00 to win race at Winterport dragway will be June 12th. June 11th there will be a gamblers race and a camp over.

The 12th is a points day at NED. I would like to get up your way this year with my car instead of the truck :o

Is this a box/no box type race where everyone is mixed or are the classes separated until the final? What time do the gates open and what are the entry fees? I haven't run Winterport since the early 90's and would like to again.

There are 2 seperate classes until the finals.

Entry Fees are:

Admission: $10.00
Tech card: $10.00
Race Entry Fee: $20.00
Buy-Backs: $20.00 (buy-backs allowed in the 1st and 2nd rounds, or both!)

Gates Open at 8:00AM, but we will be there Saturday too. Over night campers are welcome, FREE. (No hookups.)

This race is a lot of fun to run!

Hey Sounds good to me ! I will be there and bring a few buddys with me. I like Winter port wish it was closer. You guys made me feel welcomed last year . traction was Excellent ! :D

I agree with ron, I wish they were closer!! Winterport has always been good off the line :D It's the 2 hour drive I dont like but we will and do drive it.
