Hey everyone. I live about 4 miles from New England dragway. I'm enrolled in the street elim. brackets. My tranny pooped the bed on Wednesday night. I need a rebuild for a TH350 manual valve body.... quick! Any suggestions on who's good and close to me? I don't want to miss too many Sundays if you know what I mean. Thanks everybody!

Ron,

Don't know of any shops around you, but you can try to get ahold of Bob Baker. He's from Epping and runs a blue 67 Mustang fastback in street. He will be working on my spare th-350 for me shortly and might be able to help you out.

Thanks everybody. Fortunately my buddy found a guy in Maine and it is rebuilt already, but I'll keep the others in mind, because I'm sure I'll need them again eventually.

Thanks LW. Actually the tranny has a bunch of TCI components already in it. Those were unharmed. Seems a snap ring that holds the cage of clutch plates broke and the thing just came apart inside (so I'm told). I think I'll call them about that book though. I'm sure I'll be needing it again.

Usually what happens is the little dogs that the snap ring goes in break an then the case is junk , I know this from experance I broke two cases , Then A local tranny guy told me about a little peace that you can add called a case saver . aparantly they had this problem in 4 wheel drive trucks and this is what the engineers came up with to solve it . I never broke another one after putting in this little pc. Hope this helps . DAN
